The project was a Lady Bay Open Studios link here initiative responding to

great enthusiasm for film making and watching following Open Studios 2002

when Bang! link here and Trampoline link here presented a programme of short films by artists.

We transformed the Scout Hut into a Cinema to screen films made by local artists and young people

alongside the work of new, established and national award winning film makers.

Now there are digital cameras and computers in many homes and all our schools

Using technology and software to make good quality film is a matter of effort and imagination,

rather than being limited by how much money you can spend. Very much like ten years ago when

young people began to make their music in bedrooms and garages instead of at expensive studios
